symm. steering + lipo battery , question ( baja)

hi . I plan to switch from 6v nimh to 7.4 lipo battery for my baja. I use symmetrical steering and I would like to know if the battery will fit to the battery box . how did you do it ? is it necessary to make any adjustments to the box? or do you have the battery placed outside the box , or does it normally fit there ? thx !!

Some (not all) batteries have measurements online. I would compare that to your battery box if there is one.
I was having the same issue/concern with my Losi 5T lol

I have the rovan sym steer in my baja with the redesigned battery box and the ddm lipo ment for the baja is tight in there, I have to put it in on an angle.
